the strongest technical aspect of my work is the use of the different scales of white gray and black. The final product of the picture is the one in the middle of all the others. On the final one i could have had a little more white but after multiple tries it was becoming very difficult to find the exact numbers to get it to have white in it but i eventually got to a place where there was little white. The easiest part of this activity was taking the pictures. The most difficult part of this project was getting the picture to come out right, it took me many different test strips on big and small paper and many different tries to finally get a picture that i was happy with. I demonstrated the objective of this activity by taken the picture, developing it not a small piece of paper and then choosing an image to enlarge while enlarging the image i created test strips in order to find out exactly which f stop and how much time to set the enlarger to. If i could do this art activity again i think it would come out a lot better but i began to get very frustrated with this activity so i began to stop trying as hard as i could've if i had known at the beginning what i know now i think it would have been a lot easier to create the picture.

Coffee Camera

The strongest technical aspect of my work was getting my negative to turn into a positive. I could have improved the use of my negative space to show all of my images and i could have lined up my picture better. The easiest part about this activity was creating the negative, taking the picture and developing it. The difficult part of this activity was creating the negative into a positive and figuring out exactly what f stop it needed to be on. I demonstrated the objective by taking a picture with the coffee camera and then changing it into a positive from the original negative picture. If i could do this again i would have written my name smaller so that it did not effect my positive picture.

Photograms

The strongest technical aspect of my work is the use of the black white and grey colors. I could have improved some of the designs in my pictures also the lining up of the photo paper under the easels. The easiest part about this project was choosing what designs I wanted to use for my photograms. the most difficult part of this project was using the enlargers and figuring out exactly what setting it had to go on. I demonstrated the objective by creating negative space with the objects  i was using. I think i would just fix the placement of my photo paper and some of the objects i used.

Assignment 4- Polaroid

The strongest technical aspect of my work is the use of blending the background layers and the use of the polaroids. I could have improved the cutting out of the parts of the picture that i did not want. 

The easiest part about this activity was choosing where i had to put the polaroids. The most difficult part was trying to get each layer in the correct spot so that the image came out the way i wanted it to.

I demonstrated the objective of this activity by using the polaroid and placing them in a way to make it look like i recreated tom brady and by using the layers of the background and blending them together to create the background i want. If i could do this project again i would have changed the position of a couple of my polaroids. 

Photo Retouch

   the strongest technical aspect of my work is the use of the healing tool. I used that to cover blemishes on the faces.i could have improved the whitening job that i did because my teeth came out extremely white and i struggled to get them all the same.

    the easiest part of this project was blending the face and applying the makeup. The most difficult part of this project was getting the whitening to become a realistic color.

   I demonstrated the objective by whitening my teeth and eyes and applying makeup to clean up the picture from the original. i would have made the teeth a little bit darker,  but it was hard to get it to be white and not look blue.

Desaturation Project 2

   The strongest technical aspect is the balance between the desaturations point and the focal point. I could have improved the way that some points that were supposed to be black ended up being colored again but it was extremely difficult to get the fence posts to be colored because of their size.

   

   The easiest part of this assignment was choosing the focal point and getting it back to its original color. It was difficult to get the fence to be colored along the dock and it was difficult just learning which tools to use and how to actually do it using the photoshop tools.

   I demonstrated the objective by using the history tool to recolor the focal point of my project. If I could do this project again I would have left the fence part of the dock alone and just done the floor part of the deck.

Photoshop project 1

The strongest technical aspect of my work is the choice of using the yellow to create a focal point of my work. I think my lines could have been made a little neater in my work, but it was very difficult to get them to come out the way that I wanted them to work.

   The easiest part about this activity was choosing the colors to use for my work. The most difficult part of this project was getting the lines to be perfectly straight and to get the colors to not go over each other. 

   By painting the picture and having it not like the original I demonstrated the object given in the project. Also with the ways the lines came out and how the colors overlap in some spots it is easy to see that the picture was blended. If I could do this art project again i would try harder to figure out a way to get the diagonal lines to come out straight and to get the colors to not overlap.
